For many tourists, Maun is the point of entry into the Delta, and often into Botswana, with direct flights from both Johannesburg and Gaborone. Situated in the Northwest corner of Botswana and administrative capital of Ngamiland District, Maun is the fifth largest town of Botswana. Maun has developed into one of Botswana’s main tourist areas as it’s the gateway to the country’s chief national parks and attractions.
