Savute Park is 10,878 kms squared in size and is situated in the southern stretch of Botswana`s Chobe National Park. Savuti is home to many animals and about 450 bird species which live in the savannahs and rolling grasslands.
Animals in this park include: impala, kudu giraffe, elephant, zebra, tsessebe, roan, sable, wildebeest, buffalo, waterbuck, elephant, warthog, eland, lion, hyena, jackal, bat-eared fox, cheetah, wild dog and White rhino
Bird species include: Pratincole, Carmine Bee-eaters, visiting migrant birds such as Pratincole and Carmine Bee-eaters, fish eagles, Little quelea finches, large secretary birds, kori bustards and Abdim’s Storks

Access into the Savute is by road
Access by air is via charter aircraft from Kasane and Maun to the Savute airstrip.
